Carolle Roy

YEARS OF SERVICE: 2011 – Present

Carolle Roy holds a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Montreal, a graduate diploma in information technology and learning environments from TÉLUQ (a French-language distance learning university), and a doctorate in university teaching and digital environments from UQAM.

She founded the Canadian Association of Instructional Designers (CAID) in 2011 and served as its president until 2021. Ms. Roy was an Instructional Designer at the University of Saint Boniface (USB) from 2007 to 2020 and previously served as the university’s webmaster from 1998 to 2007. She worked as an instructional technology specialist at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal from 2020 to 2021.
